Upcoming Events

Every year CEY hosts and co-hosts a large number events for a broad range of groups throughout newcastle and the Hunter Region. We do our best to spread the age groups of all our events to make them as inclusive as possible to all people, while also tailoring some to particular events to specific age groups so that those groups can get the most possible out of an event.

This page has all of the info and links you need to be able to see what CEY is up to this year, and also if there is anything you may be interested in being a part of.

We are also always looking for people who would like to volunteer as leaders and helpers at events that require a large group of supervisors. If you have any queries or would like to be a part of an event team please contact us using the infor on the bottom left of this page.

Step'n Up
This is a brand new camp designed specifically for late primary and early high school kids (yr5-9). So many kids can get lost in the transition between primary and high school, and also in the transition from children's to youth ministry. This fun, activity based camp is designed to help simplify that transition for them and show them that they are part of a wider family of the church. read more

Youth Synod
Youth Synod is an annual camp for teenagers and young adults designed to create an enjoyable Christian environment where they can hear and be inspired by Christian messages and activities. For 10 years Youth Synod has been steadily growing both in size and quality of content, and it is one of CEY premiere events of each year. read more

Over 20's Retreats
Over 20's Retreats are designed for uni-age people to come together over a weekend and take part in times of worship and teaching that is appropriate to their stage of life. These retreats have been a great way for people to maintain and build friendships, as well as allowing them to personally reflect on their faith in a relaxing environment. read more

A Day to Treasure
Are you or have you known someone in marital or relational crisis and asked yourself the question "What can I do to help our/their marriage or other marriages in my community?" Whether you are married or not, whether your marriage is fantastic or faltering, this Oz FamilyLife seminar is just what you need to leave with a renewed sense of hope and purpose! read more

Jesus All About Life
Jesus. All About Life is a prime-time media campaign developed by Bible Society NSW. It aims to motivate the "quiet Christian to share their faith". Registered Churches in the campaign area run outreach events for the general public which are promoted by the churches and through the allaboutlife.com.au website. read more

CNET & YNET 2009
These Children's & Youth Networks of General Synod are designed to be forums for relevant discussion of issues facing ministry to children and young people across the Anglican Church in Australia. They're made up of people working in some capacity with these targets groups representing diocese' around the country. read more
