The CEY Ministries team is broken up into ministry focus areas (children,youth etc), with each team member overlapping their primary focus area with other secondary areas - to best facilitate working together as a team.
Children & Family Ministry
Sue Sneddon has been part of the CEY Ministries team for nine years. During this time she has been part of many camps & events for children and their families. Sue is part of a network which provides training, resources and support for SRE teachers.
Youth & Family Ministry
Mark Pullin began working with CEY Ministries in June 2004. His role at CEY is as a youth & family officer, including organization and publicity of CEY events as well as working with parishes throughout the Diocese supporting them in their own ministry initiatives.
Special Religious Education (SRE) Ministry
Jan Craft is the newest member of the CEY Ministries team, beginning in April 2008. With a primary responsibility in SRE (Special Religious Education) ministry, her role is to liaise with parishes and local SRE coordinators to support the work of SRE in the Newcastle diocese. Jan will be working from the CEY Ministries (Diocesan) Office one day per week, generally Mondays or Tuesdays.
