CEY Ministries Over 20’s Retreats are designed for young people between 20 and 30 to help strengthen their faith in an environment of peers. theme | speakerThe theme for our first Over 20's retreat this year is 'inspired by the goslpel.' So often in our church and private lives today we read the Bible section by section, often without any solid reference to what we're going through personally. At this weekend we're going to look at how the Bible can be used as personal inspiration rather than just guidelines for leading a Christian life. Our mentor for the weekend is Stewart Perry, assistant priest from the parish of Cooks Hill. Stew has been involved in the Anglican Church and ministry to young people for over 10 years, and his practical and engaging approach to the gospel has proven both valuable and inspiring to people of all ages. date & venue...
accommodationThe registration fee of $100.00 covers cover all meals and accommodation for participants. We will be staying in fully self-contained cottages, each accommodating up to eight people with their own kitchen, bathroom, lounge and balcony facilities. Point Wolstoncroft sits on a headland overlooking Lake Macquarie so is totally surrounded by the lake and bushland - so there is no such thing as a bad view where we will be staying.
