Youth Synod 2008 is going to be simply amazing! With incredibly dynamic speakers and worship sessions as well as personally impacting outreach activities we hope that Youth Synod will encourage you in your faith, and build on your individual strengths - enabling you to go out and share you faith with your world!

“Let your light shine before all men, that they may see your
good deeds and praise your father in heaven!”

                                                                           Matthew 5:16

theme

The challenge of sharing your faith can sometimes seem overwhelming and daunting. The theme for Youth Synod this year is 'Light Your World' with its aim being to equip you with knowledge and skills to be able to share your faith with those around you – starting with your family and then expanding outwards to all of the people in your world.

Dr. Elton Trueblood once said: "Evangelism is not a professional job for a few trained people, but is instead the unrelenting responsibility of every person who belongs to the company of Jesus."

At Youth Synod this year, we hope that you will be challenged and encouraged in the task of sharing your faith - and living as a shining beacon of Christ for all of the people in your world!
